Is skating Dead?

The past few week's I have got back into inline skating. I feel the pain already, im much older now so busting my ass hurts alittle bit more. Other then that I love to do it, the rush makes me feel alive. But where did all the skaters go? I have went to skate parks around dallas to find other people that enjoy it as much as I do, but thier empty.. Back in the day it was hard to find a spot to skate without it being packed. Is it dead or am I not awear of the new places to skate? It's also a good thing since I just started up again im alittle bit of a noob, which makes the empty skate parks alot more enjoyable. If anyone knows whats up,please let me know. Is there new sports that just kicks skateboarding and skatings ass? Or am I just out dated?

Hi,

Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association has the statistics, the sport has drastically declined. It's a difficult sport to accomplish for most.
My innovation could easily ressurect the numbers to its' peak in the 1990s.
Check out some fascinating technology at http://www.inlineskatetech.com
Let me know wht you think.
