A Carrollton-based distributor serving Taco Bell restaurants in the Northeast has confirmed that it's been drawn into an investigation into E. coli poisoning that has sickened dozens of people.

But an official representing McLane Foodservice Inc. said Wednesday that it's highly improbable the company was the source of the contamination that affected people in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

McLane workers do not come in contact with food, said Bart McKay, associate general counsel for parent company McLane Co., which is based in Temple, Texas.

"A truck backs up to our dock with cardboard boxes filled with [bagged] sliced green onions," Mr. McKay said in a telephone interview. "We unload the boxes, stack them temporarily ... then ship them out to the restaurants. We don't touch food in any way."

On Wednesday, Taco Bell announced it would remove green onions from its 5,800 U.S. restaurants after an independent laboratory found three samples to be "presumptive positive" for E. coli O157:H7, the most dangerous strain of the bacterium.

"In an abundance of caution, we've decided to pull all green onions from our restaurants until we know conclusively whether they are the cause of the E. coli outbreak," said Greg Creed, Taco Bell's president, in a prepared statement. "Taco Bell's first concern is the health and safety of our customers and employees."

The outbreak also prompted Yum Brands Inc. to temporarily close multiple restaurants. The company, based in Louisville, Ky., owns Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and other fast-food chains

Is skating Dead?

The past few week's I have got back into inline skating. I feel the pain already, im much older now so busting my ass hurts alittle bit more. Other then that I love to do it, the rush makes me feel alive. But where did all the skaters go? I have went to skate parks around dallas to find other people that enjoy it as much as I do, but thier empty.. Back in the day it was hard to find a spot to skate without it being packed. Is it dead or am I not awear of the new places to skate? It's also a good thing since I just started up again im alittle bit of a noob, which makes the empty skate parks alot more enjoyable. If anyone knows whats up,please let me know. Is there new sports that just kicks skateboarding and skatings ass? Or am I just out dated?

DIE HARD 4?

I am a big fan of the Die Hard movies, when I heard there was going to be a 4th to the installment I almost creamed my pants.What's it about? "Live Free or Die Hard" is the fourth installment of the franchise which finds hero John McClane coming out of retirement to battle an internet terrorist organization intending to systematically demolish or seize our technological infrastructure via a three-day plan. These guys will gradually step up malfunctions starting with traffic control systems, working towards economic markets, and finally shutting down key utilities like power and water, to send the U.S. essentially into a modern Dark Ages. Wall to wall action and you know alot of people are going to be taking some 9mm rounds to the chest. This is a must see movie for me, but im worried that old Bruce might not hit it out the head with this one. Maybe it that I have never seen a 51 year old man kick that much ass,who knows.. He just might pull it off.

Now that the Wii has hit store's , it did'nt take long for the problems to start poping up all over the net..Nintendo has great softwear, but no one is perfect.. I have been hearing alot of people are having problems with Madden, but only in tutorial mode. In tutorial mode the game with freeze and not respound to any commands, after turning it off and back on it would boot up but not show any video. Aslo, there has been reports of a buzz sound that would often come out of the system.. I was watching the feed on G4 and they had a story about the defects of the Wii, many people called Nintendo about a start up disk .. The start up disk model was shiped out to over five diffrent store's in the states. I know its not alot but how pissed would you be if you stood inline for 24 hours! First off I would like to say I dont owen a playstation 3 or a house.. I got a very lovely call from sony today,after my story hit the U.S.A it got big in other parts of the world. In Japan alone I had over 23,000 unique views in one day after a news station reported my story. In the U.S.A I had over 30,000 in just a few days, now some people at sony are a little pissed. Im not going into any names but a legal head at sony made it nice a clear that I need to let everyone know it was all just a scam. He told me the last few weeks, sony had over 200 calls from people concerned about their PS3.

Once again.. My house was not burned down, and I never owned a playstation 3. Thank you, and sorry to the poeple I might have made second guess Sony's responsibility for making their first prority the safety of the customers..

Everyone needs to skate!

I just started to skate again, And yes im hurting already.... It's been 4 years but im back on the streets.. If anyone in the Dallas area knows any good spot hit a brother up! All my old skate spots have turned to trash, or if you want to skate with me im always up at the BURG. The BURG kicks soo much ass now, im use to it being packed, now it's little kidville... I love it! beeeeaaaaaaah

I have been seeing alot of trash talk about my house buring down... I just want to thank all my friend's that have helped me out the past week, also people have been asking me about pics of the PS3. Well, sorry it's not going to happen. My house is in the middle of being dozed! If I did have pics of the PS3 I would put it up, but the place was burned to ash! So for the people talking SHIT! I lost everything, so go suck on one mother..

I'm not suing sony

Since I posted about my house fire, a lot of people have emailed me and there has been a lot of bullshit talk bout me suing the homies at sony. I NEVER SAID I WAS SUING ANYONE. I'm not suing... I have home owners insurance and everything will be taken care of. I have moved back into my parents house and will be getting a new place soon. I still believe it was the PS3 that caused the fire, and nothing is going to make me believe anything else. Those of you wanting interviews and what not can suck a cock, I'm not here to make you money. I will be posting a couple pictures of the PS3 tomorrow... The guys from the fire department have a couple that I think they have posted on various forums, so try searching google and you might be able to find them in the next couple days. Til that you can check out a couple of pictures of the house. You can see that the fire originated in my living room and took out the wall closest to the camera. This is where the PS3 was sitting. Also you can see what has been dubbed the remains of meh "$150" big lots couch. I will try to get PS3 aftermath photos up ASAP for you guys...

BACK TO ME SUING SONY. I have a life and I work for my money. Those of you looking to get rich by suing people can suck it. When you work hard for your money, you can appreciate what you have. If I sued sony for a million dollars, I would be just like all those who win the lottery. You will feel good for awhile, but in a year you will probably hate life more than you did when you were broke. The only thing I want is another ps3, and in a year I probably won't feel any better whether or not I had one, but atleast I will know I didn't stoop to the level of suing a corporation just to make a couple bucks.

The fire department has said that they fully suspect it was the playstation 3 that caused the fire, the place where that bad boy was sitting is where the fire originated from and is where the most damage and sustained heat was.

In my last post I was pissed off and not very clear, when I said I have not seen a cent from sony, i called them trying to get a replacement system. I am still pursuing getting a new system as even after all of this, I would still like a PS3. This time i wont leave it turned on over night, and un plug its ass when not in use.

To those who said my house was only worth 24k and I had my priorities in the wrong order, I am 21 years old and living on my own. My house is worth more than 24 and 12.000 was just a number i pulled out my ass, me buying an overpriced system and living in a house under 500,000 is none of your business.

My Playstation 3 caught fire

Not thinkin the NG, big boy playstation three would have any trouble being on over night.......... But I was wrong! Comming home at six in the morning and finding half of my house burnt to a crisp.. The fire department took a few days finding what set the blaze, my playstation three, so they say.. Funny the part of the house that got jacked up just so happen to be right where the ps3 was siting.Now I have up to 12,000 bucks in damage, and no more playstation!FUCK! I tryed getting in touch with the lovely people at sony, LOL but I havent seen a dime yet....

Today has been a blast..... Me and my nigga CR have been kickin it at his crib, I bet you want to know why and how this day has been so good to me..
